Parts of this were off-road and very muddy, and directions were sketchy in places, but we managed to do this without getting lost.  Well organised event with good facilities.  Hoping for better weather next year!!

Ah, so my plan to run Dash to the Finish Line the day before is perfect (if a tad pricey!)

Wave start times are according to your race number, which equates to your declared running time.  I'm on the 7.30 ferry for a 10.55 start, lots of faffage time!

I'm arriving with my daughter on the Thursday evening.  Anyone else doing the Dash to the Finish Line 5k??  We're aiming to do it together (run/walk)

I got in through the ballot this year at the first time of asking.  Flight and hotel have been booked for months, charity shop trip for warm clothes is being planned although I like the sleeping bag idea.  And it would give me room in the case for all my NY purchases.  Sorted!!

I think there is enough time between the marathon and your ultra.  Running a marathon will give you good experience for the ultra, if you have not run either distance before.  Good luck!!
