the website is very informative, this sold it for me:

"South East Trains are putting on a special train from Charing Cross at 8:10am to arrive at West St. Leonards Station (600 yds from Start) for 09.45a.m. "

I just signed up! SAw that a few people wished there were not so many HMs on the same day - well I'm glad there are because Fleet and Bath are already full, at this critical time before FLM EVERYONE wants a HM so lucky there are still some to go round!

Have been meaning to do this race for years, am thrilled they have made the start time late enough to get the first train from London. Now do I trust Southerwestern trains to really get me there...?!!

They used to have a description on the mornington chasers website but it's not there anymore, so it might be changing, but in previous years you got points depending on your finishing position in your gender/age category - 20 points for 1st, 18, for 2nd, and so on (not always moving in increments of 2 points btw). I thought that it was your best 5 races out of the 6 that counted but looking at last year's standings (http://www.chaser.me.uk/series_results.php?a_seriesid=1) those points include all 6 races.

Sorry that this isn't terribly helpful - hopefully someone from mornington chasers can give a bit more clarity, but if you desperately want to know you could email rp10race@chaser.me.uk
