| I was in a similar situation, opted for a Trek 1.2, love it. I got the 2010 model just as the 2011 model was released, saved a few quid. Not an expert, it hit my similar criteria to yours |

Anyone done this? Thinking of giving it a crack.
The race is 16th ish of march, is the training time sufficent? Have a good base fitness having trained/raced fairly consistently this season.
Any info greatly received!

Thanks for the advice.
Hoping the humidity side of things will be ok, all of my training will be in Thailand, so I should acclimaise.
In terms of runs, I have not gone over 10k recently, but as yet I have not done a stand alone run since last September, all my runs have been on tired legs post bike. I have been doing speed work over those distances.
I think my biggest concern will be getting the running miles in my legs, but without going too high too soon. |
