Hi everyone, (A cuppa and a croissant with jam please Mr. H)

How're you all. Just glanced back a page to see what's happening. I'm training away for Paris. Did 20 miles weekend before last and 21 last weekend. Have only had 2 track sessions and one hill session. Slow on the long runs but hoping for a pacier 15 miler next saturday and a good Ballycotton 10 two weeks after that. D07 you seem to be flying it. 1.26 is very impressive. Giller, I'm still laughing at the boiled roast pork. Doylie, my last 2 long runs were around 8.10 pace but I'm just glad to have the miles in the legs at this stage. I'm not doing over 6 miles during the week so have targeted 3 * 20 milers and 2 * 21-22 milers. Along with some track sessions I'm hoping that will be enough for a pb.

As for work around the house, we're selling ours and have 2 viewings tomorrow so tonight will be spent cleaning it - happy days. TBH I'm not in to the whole Valentines (Happy Hallmark JO!) rip off thing anyway so I'm as well pleased - besides my wife was away for the weekend and spent all our money, while I minded the 3 kids!

Our new house is in good nick and we definitely hope to be by Paddy's day. Stairs and doors are in, tiling nearly finished, floors nearly finished, kitchen going in next week, inside painting nearly finished, paths etc. starting soon so it's all coming together nicely.

Long may you run

Dave.

Thanks for the tea SJ. I'm ok to drive off and collect the kids now. It was a great party. Good to meet everyone again.

See you all again soon.

Dave.
