yip it's me .......must have all been psycosematic (oops spelling) as just back from the gym feeling totally fab and managed 5.25 miles, which is the longest so far in a lunch break. I hung my t-shirt over the control panel so I couldn't see anything (on the screen) and ran at a pace and for a time that felt comfortable.

However, I did take yesterday off and only ran today whilst I felt good.
VRap - I am getting 'slightly' better at taking advice, training is no longer twice a day as I am now studying in the evenings. I have still been lurking but can't post much as they check everything here (I'm at work)

Thanks
Gillian

mmmmm - don't think I've got/getting anything. I blamed the jab yesterday as it was a bit of a coincidence (I got one that has a pneumonia vaccintion too - don't think I've had that before)

It could just be my office as it's really stuffy despite having the windows open and heating off (which is a brave feat in Aberdeen at this time of year).

Going to head to the gym and see how I feel.....fingers crossed

Hi, any advice would be welcome

I had a flu jab yesterday right after a a blood test and felt really awful yesterday. Felt better this morning but am still pretty tired. 5 miles at lunchtime and same again after work are scheduled. I presume this long after the jab I should be OK to go ahead with my planned runs?
thanks
Gillian

Thanks CollyM - I am hoping to try and built up leg muscle (hence the introduction of weights to my schedule recently) so I presume as spinning will work my legs in a different way to running it will be beneficial as despite all of the running and weights I'm going my upper body seems to have become very toned and develpoed muscle so much quicker than my lower body (with very little effort)
