Bit late joining this thread. I am entered for the mara but not sure how it's gonna go or if I'll finish. I'm winging it on long runs of 10 miles which have been infrequent lately!
Will you have any squash or liquids other than water at the aid stations please? Will there be anything else like energy bars or sweets etc?
I am doing this again Sunday - one of my fav races of the year and a nice local one for me (had fish & chips in the park tonight). Good luck one and all. I wonder will it be the usual scorcher or another wet year?!
EP are you going for cleats? Good luck. I personally hate them with a passion but apparently I'm the only cyclist in Britain without cleats according to the keen cyclists I cycle with! Keep getting told off for not having them.
