It's great to see an article on the TRX. Unfortunately this article doesn't do it justice - it is far more than a piece of equipment for recovery after injury! I use it regularly to train with and I am stronger and fitter than I have ever been. I also use it with clients who vary in abilities from complete beginner (I mean complete beginner as in not exercised for many years) to advanced users, the possibilities are so vast! Just check out some of the video clips on youtube to see for yourself what an amazing workout you can have with a TRX - Oh and one of the things I love most about it is that you can workout outdoors!!! |

Every one has their reasons so here are mine…. I believe that at the moment I am fitter than I have ever been and therefore with the right coaching and package offered by Runner’s World I could realistically achieve a good for age time and I would definitely be on track for a Personal Best. Running London in 2009 would also give me the chance to remember the race for all the right reasons replacing the not so good memories I have of the 2006 race (when I had a charity place). 2006 was emotionally, and on the day physically, very hard for me and is probably the worst run of my life. There are, how shall I say, some health issues that I have that make some people think I am great just for running at all. I don’t see it that way at all. Put quite simply I run because I can. So to sum up it would be amazing for me to be given the opportunity to run the London Marathon in 2009 because I can and because by doing so, with the prize being given, I will achieve a long held goal. |

Hi I had a message from Action Medical Charity just saying ballot places have been annonunced but still not a magazine or bank payment in sight. Surely they would cash the payments before sending out the magazines? I would love to do it next year - this waiting is horrible!!! |

I too am waiting, terrible isn't it... It would also be 3rd time lucky for me too, I ran it in 2006 but only through a golden bond charity place. I would really love to do it again as I didn't have a good experience (in fact probably the worst run of my life) and I really want to have great memories of it. Fingers crossed!!! |
