(((Snaily))) - you will come out the other side and I think the suggestion someone made of additional ./ changing mobile would give you a lot of peace.....
Hope Mrs K made it back in one piece - glad you can have a shared interest, it deffo makes life easier!
Sluggie - oh, the excitement of antiseptic showering..........so long as it doesn't turn your hair green or anything hopefully it'll be short term effects only!! How are you feeling now the day is drawing near?
JFF - I tried veryhard not to laugh at fatty pants....especially as you are anything but!!
Chuggy - I too had a major garden sort out at the weekend....in shorts and vest top and caught the sun........even coming home from swimming at 6.30pm on the saturday as it was getting dark it was still around 20C
Today it is extremely windy (but then is usually is in Ffannitt) but apart from a 10 minute torrential downpour, no rain - suspect we may be luckier than the rest of the country though in our little corner
((Podds))) sounds as if it is more than time for a change! What is the job situation on Plannit Fannit?
Not great Sluggie - despite being in the affluent SE, Plannitt Ffannitt is an area of socio-economic deprivation and chronic unemployment.......pretty much the only jobs going are in care homes (which like many old dying seaside resorts) we specialise in
Oh well - today I've been out at a networking meeting and had far more fun so now only have a few hours to get through today Hope you're feeling more cheerful too Daffs
I have to say that it it wasn't for finances I'd chuck the job in a second
I seem to get less and less job satisfaction almost by the day currently.........I've just gone out for an hour because I couldn't face doing anything.......and nobody notices (which I guess is good!!!)
JFF - I've tried green tea plus something but somehow the aftertaste still comes through.........perhaps I'm making it wrong.........is there a wrong way to make tea?? No idea on the knee I'm afraid
Despite a glorious blue sky and sun outside I have got a massive Monday morning CBA which could easily descend into a lovely grump!!
Yums - wot Daffs said, it took me a long time to step back from the RGT group but going to the walk last Sunday without having to remember all the admin, collecting tins, photos and route sorting made it a far more relaxing and less tiring experience It took me months to learn my lesson but I know you are far smarter
Glad Mrs Dawg continues on the upwards too
Chamomile tea Green tea I knowit's supposed to be good to you but I have yet to find one which didn't make me
Right off to war - just emailed a reply to my line manager's request for 20 mins to do my performance appraisal along the lines that I've done nothing since May so can't he just resubmit it as it stands.............
Looks like fun Sluggy Sounds like a nice evening coming up with MS and SM I am hanging on to the fizzyouch's words...........don't get to see him for another month now which is a shame in some ways as he always makes me laugh and smile
Well run Kieran and Spence - I'm the opposite Spence, I always go to races with club mates or other pals but can imagine nothing worse than running with them as it means somebody is not running their pace and that makes me feel bad......
Welcome Little Buddha - EIA is a possibility but this doesn't sound like it to me - without knowing how often, how far and how fast (and your RPE in each session) it is difficult to say what the problem is
However by far and away the most typical problem when starting out is going too fast (even if it feels pedestrian)
I've got to shoot off now but others will be along later - pull up a chair and let us know what you're doing and we'll apply decades of experience to your problems........oh and any running queries too
