Coco, sorry that you are playing host to the germlies, hope that you soon feel better.
(((Podds))) glad that the ouchy back is feeling a bit better. The drugs shouldn't matter much, they will be well out of your system before the op. It's NSAIDs that they really want you to stop due to the risk of bleeding. I will have to stop NSAIDs and shower with chlorhixidene for 3 days before my 'procedure'.
Sluggie - that's fab news - I'm a bit more mobile today but was really worried about tomorrow's ride. I don't want to let Mr P down as we've both missed so much this summer and this our last hurrah and he can't / won't go without me.........I may just take a co-codamol at the start of the ride tomorrow and that will allow me to ride I honestly don't think I'll do myself any damage doing so and I'm not due for surgery until Weds evening
I too didn't understand the showering bit until you explained - the NSAIDs make sense now you've explained but t'other one? I knowyou're not grubby!!
Glad you had a good day Nogs - I saw the ITV highlights but they missed out Kop Hill would you believe? I feel for the guy off the back of the peleton - I so know how he feels.....
I can barely bring myself to watch / read about the dogs' home - it breaks my heart to think about the fear and panic they must have endured, both the survivors and those that didn't make it............. But the GBP have also come through with the financial and food / blanket donations
Well done Spence - what a lovely way to celebrate daught's sweet 16th I remember my mother once telling me that she loved me but she didn't like me very much and to be fair she had a point - I was a pretty hideous teenager
