Thanks Batmouse, I'm trying to find the website, thousands of averts for pram sales keep appearing though! I've "engineered" my way around the strap at the moment and no way will it come free, and if it did ...well at my speed he'd roll slowly rather than fly out! Cheers Ryan |

Looking to get out with a buggy and have been given a jane 3 wheeler. It unfortunately has a missing strap, I'll try to fix or replace this. Does anyone have any tips? What age is it safe to go out from...the baby not me! Thanks Ryan |

Some good points wilde rover. But why not use the rest of Carhedral rd and run us back down Western avenue and in via the riding stables? NO hill if we used Llandaff fields and then that may take one of the loops around Bute park out. The Millenium copes fine, but the Castle whilst it's scenic for the spectators is no good for us with those cobbles. Better to run around the castle, no? If London can "shut down" its main streets for a day Cardiff can and should. I like my City and the thought of 20000 people turrning up...WITH THEIR WALLETS as well as their trainers has to be good. sounds like I'm griping, nah I enjoyed it but thought it has more potential. From overheard comments a lot of the field next year will be newbies, not repeat visitors. Ryan |

I think this course is set to get some bad press! It's difficult to sort out a route in a small city like Cardiff that will suit all, and have a great finish point like the stadium. However I agree that there is defo room for improvement. Hats off to all who did the full, as I got to the end of the half the thought of keeping going was not with me! Was it just me or did there seem a lack of mile markers? maybe as I ran in a group I missed a lot of them. The stadium finish was great, thanks to all the families and cheerers ( is that a word??)< BUT my only real gripe was that the last 3 miles seemed to snake back and forth to try and make up the mileage. Sorry to hear about the lack of shirts, No larges after the 2 hour mark when I got out! OOPS doesn't sum that one up! Ryan |
