i have a berocca in a pint of water and head out the door. usually run for an hour on that and feel fine. i find it's best to wolf down some sort of a cereal bar as soon as i get back though so i won't pass out on the tube on the way to work!!
i usually run on the track, which is a gentle 7 - 8 minute jog from home, so that does for a warm-up, i then stretch a little and start the proper running
just signed up for this one and the london chest hospital 10k in July. should be a good contrast as this is hilly and i think the other is relatively flat, will be interesting to compare my times...
my better half cycles to work and occasionally gets pelted with pebbles by the local braintrusts when she's waiting at traffic lights. kids today... (oops i've become my father)
