Don't look back, run as far as the eye can see. Embrace the rain with the wind wrapping around you like a blanket of energy. Giggle through the puddles and smile that nothing matters while you run. All your worries suddenly have answers and everything is not as bad as it seems. Wow what a wonderful moment in time a run can give you! Price less.... Thank you for sharing my run today along The Thames cross Kew bridge back over Chiswick Bridge to Ealing Common in London. Happy last day of 2012.
Is it still Safe to do long distance running with a under active thyroid? Diagnosed six months from a routine blood test and do not have any symptoms or weight issues. My Drs (all three of them)have not run before and they all sound like they are reading from a script by saying there is very investigation and they have little knowledge on the relationship with exercise and under active thyroid. I am 49 female 5.3ish. Is there any research or a long distance runner with the same condition that can help? Cornish
In a nutshell started to get lower back pain three months ago - feel it standing straight on the tube in the morning on the way to work and when I put my 'Nora Batty tights on' the movement is bending over and bringing my knee up towards my chest I have pain and restrictive movment.
Run without pain and it goes after about 5 miles very strange!
Went for x-ray two days ago at Ealing hospital after my Dr said pain killers and an x-ray..
Is there any where in West London that will help an ordinary working girl who is not able to reap the benefits of someone who is on a good salary to help fix my dilema?
Or anyone with a good back ground on back paid can help this runner to find a good way without drugs.
Happy running and the run along the Thames via Key bridge looped around via Chiswick bridge was wonderful this morning.
