Venue - 10. Stunning grounds and location. A bit of a trip to get there from whichever way you travel (Unless you are in Kings Lynn!)
Swim - 8 (narrow in places so a bit of biff - shallow) - but easy to navigate. Nice exit pontoon.
Transition - well laid out. Plenty of loo's. Didn't even stink (or maybe I was lucky)
Bike - 8 rolling course. Hillier than expected, but big ring all the way round. Maybe avoiding the busy A168 could be a better option?
Run - 7. In grounds that big I thought a better run course could have been plotted. Not too bothered about the undulations, but too many stones / potholes in places. If it had been raining it would have been really interesting (muddy)
Organization. hmmm. 6. Not being harsh here. just my take on things.
So - "arrive the day before to register and rack" - which was fine for majority of athletes - but they registered and racked 150+ athletes Sunday morning
"you have to be in transition before 6:15 Sunday morning". Even if you are in the 7:30 wave. So got there just after 6 to be on the safe side. People were still coming in well after 7.
waiting round for 90 minutes was a pain in the ar$e. (I could have had an extra hour in bed - which was needed after a long drive the day before)
