Neil, Wenty is right, nothing you do from 21 days out will improve your fitness but you may risk injury etc. I'd be a hipacrit if I said u were silly so wind it down now and chill. Short and sweet as it's your target race.
im runnng Pompey with my son this year, it's his birthday and it's my 100th marathon assuming I get through the 2 this weekend. Fingers crossed!
I also saw the medal on Facebook and it looks great.
Fido2dogs, feel ya pain, it's boring but needs to be done and little and often is probably best.
I like the thought of not having to train as much, I plan to use marathons as my long runs, with the odd 2 in 2 etc. rather go slightly undertrained and not injured that fit but injured. Fingers crossed everyone stays fit!!
I pain the 250ZAR think it's only £15ish, maybe ask at the expo they may pay us back?
Started some hills today, been dabbling on squats and core etc, 3m warm up then over 2.8m I did 1200ft and 1200ft down, luckily I live in Devon so a few to choose from. currently the glutes are telling me off!!
Thanks slow duck, Well done Kevin for even starting Cornish if your injured, that course defiantly finds every niggle And times it by 5! Had a glute/hamstring injury myself.
Did a track marathon yesterday, computer and chip mess up and did 3.03, garmin tends to go a bit mad on the track apparently, thought I was on for way under 3 but backed off a little when I realised I was wrong. ended up time corrected 3.00.18 ha ha oh well another 3.00..... marathon 97 done!
