So, random question: Has anyone ever had DOMS in their feet? I woke up yesterday with both lower legs and feet feeling like death, and much like DOMS. I'd not experienced that before, so I thought I'd ask |

17.1 miles done in 2'13 today. Felt quite good for the last hour or so, but took a while to get going. The wind was brutal, too. |

Just to clarify - the windchill was forecast to be -39C: The air temperature was about -25C. And it's not particularly brave to go out in it. You just have to wear the right clothes and plan carefully in case something goes wrong. Last night I chose a route that was out of the breeze for the most part, and was sweating gently most of the way round. Anyway, I added up my mileage for the last seven days and found I'd done 60 for the week. Signs that I'm just beginning to get back to some level of fitness, although my legs felt quite mashed this morning. Still, I'm pleased just to be doing any running right now: Thoughts of serious training can still wait for a few weeks. |

I didn't run yesterday, as my legs were rather tired (I'm still getting back into it). However, the windchill is currently -39C, so I'm rather regretting that choice now! I'll aim for 10 miles on my way home from work and see how I go. Well done to everyone else braving the snow and ice |
