Please can you help. I applied for the Great North Run months ago and got a sorry you have not been successful. However, today I received a letter to say congratulations I am in, totally out of the blue. I have not done any training, have spent too much time on the pop lately and smoking the odd fag. I really dont want to miss this fantastic opportunity so please have you some good short training advice. I am willing to do anything it takes to get me to the start line.
I am going to do a 270 mile run, the full length of the Cornish coast path. I was a fairly decent runner for a few years but let it slip foe a year. I now need to get started on some good training for this event, CAN ANYONE HELP BY GIVING ME SOME ADVICE? I have 21 weeks to train.
