Mr B.... Must be very irritating, good plan on targeting the Poole 10km - have to make sure you give it full beans!
PP - I love my adios boosts. Realised I'd clocked up around 750 miles in the ones I bought just before the Reading half so on a bit of a whim I paid full price (£110) for a new pair at the Expo - the first miles I ran in them were Sunday morning and had no issues in the race with them.... I love the feeling of brand new trainers - must have been worth a couple of seconds!

bufo - My whole "race" strategy was to ensure you were let off the leash to give it full beans, I'm glad I chose to sacrifice my own plans
TR - never say never, holding my breath and will wait and see - I'm in the mix which is more than I could have ever possibly hoped for.
Definitely only short tapers in any future marathon campaigns for me though - in the "experiment of one" scientific study that was last week, I'm certain it is the best way forward for me in the future - the question of whether I should run a 50 miler 2 weeks out every time though is a slightly more complex one to answer!
