Al_P - don't "under carb" having done the full deplete. if I'm fully depleted by Thursday morning then I have 3 days of (10g x body weight in Kg) which works out around 650-700g a day.
its worth the weight gain, in fact when I switch over from deplete to load after Thursday mornings run I put the scales in the cupboard not to be seen until at least 3 weeks after race day
