Thank you all for your suggestions. What really gets me is I have an automatic entry to the FLM and cannot use it. I will be trying to put it off until next year to see if I can run/jog the FLM 2010???? If I had a sedate office job apparently I would not have this achillies problem. My job has constantly reinjured the area, as soon as scar tissue happens I am tearing it, and so the cycle happens all over again. Not being able to properly rest the injury hasn't helped either. I have an Olyptical trainer at home but its like being on a journey with no destination, I am just not much good at being on a hamsters wheel so to speak. I suppose after 5 years not being able to run or walk without pain I have had to accept and get used to it. Well as for swimming, I never could run in a straight line always veered off to the left or right, so hard to imagine me swimming in a straight line.
