Hello - I've just noticed this as I'm looking for a first half marathon to do round about november/december...I've only done 10k's so far but I like the sound of 'flat'!! Does this sound a good first half marathon or will I just be miles behind - only 250 allowed apparently and past experience tells me small fields usually mean I'm way at the back!!
Cheers.

hey - thanks for this guys. Unfortunately don't think the meralgia thing is it - it really feels like a muscular thing - like a groin strain but just further round to the outside of the leg. Other leg to ankle injury. Pain actually subsides somewhat whilst running (maybe the pain in my LUNGS takes over!!). Almost managed to feel a stretch on it after running today by lying on back and twisting leg over. Hopefully it's just a getting back into running thing and will go....no more money to spend on physio after ankle debacle!!

Sorry probably been asked millions of times before....

But I'm all excited and running again after 4 months out with sprained ankle. Now I have other aches and pains - but mostly at the top of my leg where leg joins hip - it began at the front and now has moved (great) to the outer side.

So fed up and don't even know what it is. Am keeping on going though....I can't even work out how to stretch it though

Any ideas/advice would be cool.

thanksx.
