Thank you. I feel a little more settled now. Apparently eBay are allowed to release your full name, the town you live in, your county and your home telephone number. It's in one of thier dumb ass policies.
Because of this experience, I have changed my registered address to my place of work and the telephone I've given is a fax line. If you do a lot of trading on eBay it's probably a good thing to do. You can leave your goods delivery address as your home address as they don't release this to everybody who asks for it!
I don't think he's going to come after me with a semi automatic, but surely isn't it a breach of confidentiality on eBay's behalf to release a home phone number and private email address without consent?
I don't think I'm going to bother with eBay anymore as customer services just couldn't care less, they can't answer simple questions and there are more and more scam artists on there.
I just got annoyed because they released my phone number to someone who has been struck off????
