I got hit by a car at a pedestrian crossing I was wearing a flourescent top!The driver said he didn't see me !Then started blaming me for everything so I just dived onto his bonnet made quite a dent and dared him to call the Police - surprisingly I heard nothing :-)

I can't believe this - there's hardly an road race that still survive in Northamptonshire(where we live) - then what happens - there's a real good event on like this but on the same day there's The Banbury 15 (excellent event ) and the Milton Keynes (excellent event) .I know they are not in Northamptonshire but they are events I have done in the past as they are a reasonable distance to travel to race.

My point - Organisers it might be worth having a word with other Clubs etc before deciding on a race date?

So Mr Cracknell appears at London on crutches - how convenient ! Some people should be seen rowing and not talking about Marathons!!!!!!!!!!!

I used my Timex SDS and that said I did 15.07 miles . So I'm happy with the accuracy of the course measurers and my gadget :-)))

I think the marshalls were excellent - you don't get many races where the marshalls yell out support for the runners by shouting out the names of the club vests they recognised. Lesson to everyone - wear your club vest !
