I have bought the No:1 single for my son every year since he was born (March 1987) & also a local & national newspaper. These are all in a box in the loft and he is unaware of them. It was my intention to give them to him on his 21st birthday, but now he is nearing that it seems a bit stupid. He's a great lad but lives his own life away from me and has no interest in music etc and I know feel that he wouldn't appreciate them. I was thinking of delaying giving him them for a few years. Has anyone else done this? What were the cicumstances and what was the reaction?
Nice one Nicko, I agree with what you've done, and I have been anti drink-driving all my life. I always drink soft drinks if I am driving. However,I know I am an hypocrite. I had 8 pints the other night, finishing the last one at 11:45pm. I drove to the Gym the following morning at 6:00am, and then to work at 7:45am, so I was probably over the limit.
