Hello to everyone new & old.

After FLM 2003 I just stopped! (even though I enjoyed it immensely.)

However, I have started to run again and tonight managed a steady 6.5 miler x-country without too much stress.

Obviously this was not the first run since beginning again. I have been steadily building for the last 4 weeks from a 1 min jog / 1 min walk start.

The enjoyment is back and now i'm looking for support to enter some races again.

First target - Midhurst 10k on 8th August 2004.

Love to hear from anyone at all

cheers,

Maccy.

P.S.

And yes I still love the odd pint of london Pride.

What - Still resting from FLM

Why -Body hasn't told me to start again yet!

When - tomorrow will start a new schedule. Probably the schedule that ran alongside the marathon training in RW for non - marathoners - It starts gently and that's what I fancy.

Looking to work more on speed and running with a bit more focus - felt that marathon training and FLM became a bit of a plod and it was hard to quicken! Anyone know what I mean?

Might run a 10k in Beckenham in May to get back into racing!

Cheers.

Morning all,

My head hurts - I think i was a little bit sozzled yesterday!

Haven't run since Sunday - Just getting the growing urge to go out again. I need to re-focus and choose a running schedule - I've been looking at the one in RW which ran alongside the marathon training schedules for non - marathoners and will probably do that one for the next 14 weeks.

Taking family to Bluewater today and will go to cinema later - little maccies want to see "Johnny English". Anyone know if it's any good?

Cheers!
