Apologies for butting in - was wondering whether there was anyone here who did the 2012 race and stayed at Erw Fair - a B&B on the High St in Llanberis? And would mind me contacting them about the B&B with a brief query? Know it's a long shot, but thanks. |

Hash, you've made me laugh (Mr Gawjus) and cry on the same page (your description to Alison of that wall of folks from mile 23... I blubbed). Mark, lovely to see some proud dad pics from last weekend.
Bridget and Vix, hope you storm tomorrow's run. Pinks, really hope things go well for Mr T on Mon. Enjoy that run tomorrow with your club. Galling, but the cliche is true - there will be a race next year.
Hash, will be thinking of you both on the 13th. Hope to goodness it isn't a double whammy, but know you have the strength and humour to cope with whatever is thrown at you.
For all running on the 17th - have a fab fab time. I won't be doing a spring marathon this year, and instead will be somewhere on a bumpy road <need a green smiley here> between Chitwan and Pokhara. Tomorrow sees the start of a bit of a 'trip of a lifetime' for my brood, to visit my BIL & SIL, nephew & niece who live in Kathmandu. Have packed some kit - don't intend to run much but if I can I'd love to 'join in' and get a mile or two in on the 17th. Will be thinking of you guys. |

| oh so true - my 2010 VLM would've been perfectly paced for a sub 4:30 if I had run 'just' 26.2 miles. Instead with the extra xxx metres I got a finish time of 4:31:42. On the positive I have a goal to beat when I do my next one! |
