I second Rhys Peters.  The guy is an absolute fitness demon without trying very much.  If someone trains him, he could well turn out to be olympic material.  Go Ginger Ninja!

Thanks for your best wishes everyone, Hipps and Shades are right, I'd be going for 3.30 if I ran, I'm one of those sad gits who sets targets!  I won't be able to give it my best, but hopefully come London everything will have settled down.

I'll be popping back on the thread next week so see how you all did and to congratulate you all.

RB, hope you're in fine shape and get that sub 3.30 you're after.

Give em hell guys & girls!!!

Hello all

Just to let you know I won't be seeing you at the marathon, I won't be running and I've cancelled my room.

What with the tight achilles, working tremendous hours with two jobs and a sore throat, it's best to do so.  Even if the achilles heals and the cold goes, my working commitments for the last and coming months mean it is impossible to rest properly and run a good un.  This really is the wrong time for me.

Hopefully see some of you at FLM or Abingdon next year.

 Have a good run!

I'm having a rest day today and only doing 8 miles tomorrow.  My job has been pretty physical this week and my whole body aches!
