If your mother has to maintain and insure the house, there is not much benefit in buying the freehold- you and she only have to worry when it gets down to 80years!

And £3500 seems a lot of money with such a low ground rent,

Congratulations to you all.

I have been too busy to run for the last couple of days and flying off tomorrow to san Francisco.

I have to finish early to take my cat to the cattery.  I have three small things to do but am awaiting calls back before I can finalise them.  that is why I can post on here now.

Managed a better run this morning so getting excited now.

The cut off times are 5hours at mile 22 and 6 hours for the marathon and I  finished with less than 5 mins to spare. I hope to be a little bit quicker than that this year.

Hi Bootsie I will be in California doing the Big Sur marathon on the 29th April.

I can't afford to go any slower than 2008 as there are cut off times and if I don't meet them at 22 miles I am forced to take the bus and if I am too slow I don't get a medal.

I was so stressed about the 22 mile cut off last time that when i got there in time it was almost as if I had finished, so then I had to get started again.

I managed to do 4 miles slowly this morning 4 miles in 49 minutes with no ill effects so I think I will be alright in 10 days time.
