Hey pug. don't be so sad. Maybe you're just keeping it back for the big day. I think it'll all depend on how you feel on the day so at this rate you're not going to be very fast but 5 days is a long time and even the 26 miles is time enough to change your mood and maybe at first you'll want to drop out but then after a few miles you'll realise you're doing great and then you'll get a bit excited and that'll keep you goign faster till the end. I think you should definatley run after all the training you've done. and you'll be even better if you do another one in autumn.
Hi Pug. I saw you at ellesmere as well but was no point saying hi as i've never actually bothered writing anything on this thread , despite it being the only one i regularly read, so you wouldnt know who i was. Do you feel really famous now?!
Is there not a running club near you? They might have a group of about your speed that goes out regularly on a sunday. Look at http://www.ukathletics.net/clubs/search/
ES, I too think the email is a good idea for saving the planet. I am going to enter this online now as this is my favourite race! (incase you needed another compliment) I love the hills, the weather, getting an unexpected pb, everything.
