Alice, having had to suffer this in the past, took me three weeks to get back into doing any real speedwork. The rubbing was a "wee" bit painful to say the least. Dont need Skins, just go for some tight fitting briefs and a pair of shorts. If it is any consolation, I was churning out PB's about 6 months afterwards, don't know if there was a direct correlation and don't suggest you other guys go for the op on that premise (bloody painful aftercare . |

Got my GNR bumff through the other day and now my work decides I have to be in Stavanger on Monday morning (Sunday flight from Aberdeen or Edinburgh). Can I defer my place like FLM or something - I seem to recall that this is not an option but at £34 a pop it is quite expensive if you have to basically give the money up for dead. Any ideas welcome. |

| Good to see a few folk doing the Corrie - I have taken to use the stair machine in the gym as that is about the hilliest place in East Anglia, looking forward to seeing some hills for the first time in about 9 months. |

How do all, hows the racing/training going? Been out working in strange places recently and had no real access to the internet(vedry slow dial up). Got back to be told that I am doing the Corrieyairack again this year - big PANIC, no training for the past couple of months and living in the flatlands of Holland and East Anglia, any suggestions for getting some hill work in apart from move to the Peak District :-).
Eeyin - are you doing the Corrie again this year? Anyone else?? |

I went to Levi last March and really enjoyed myself, the folks were very friendly and the scenery was really beautiful. I found they were all conversant in English but I tried to learn some Finnish, being Scots helped but not much. Kaksi Muunki was my favourite - very tasty! |
