By the end of the day had been on my feet for 21 hours wearing the orthotics.
Today, no pain, no discomfort.
If anyone else tries him let me know what you think, and if you're as pleased with the results as I am! |

Hi all,
Just here to sing the praises of a podiatrist/orthotist I've just discovered.
Been suffering with a partially torn posterior tibialis tendon since January (that's right, 5 months off running!!!).
Saw Mr Hussein on Friday, had my orthotics fitted on the following Monday (!!), and today, have been wearing them for 17 hours straight with no discomfort! (his is the 1st link in the London injury link section - the running man icon)
17 years experience, trained in podiatry, podiatric surgery AND orthotic engineering he seems to have all the tools for efficiently correcting any gait/lower limb structural abnormalities.
What's more, the price for the entire package (initial consultation, orthotics, fitting) was £165, less than what most podiatrists would charge for orthotics alone!! Aftercare is complementary.
I would strongly recommend him to everyone.
A good podiatrist. Valuable.
A return to running after 5 months?
Priceless. |

Been sidelined from running since January, recently diagnosed with tibialis posterior dysfunction and told I'll probably need orthotics.
Can anyone recommend a good podiatrist in (ideally West) London?
Preferably someone who knows a little about running!
Thanks!

Tom - seeing as there's still 14 months until flm 2006, thought I'd leave the bulk of the running for later in the year.
Ed - How have you found combining heavy weights sessions with running? how does running fit into your training week? |

| Does 6 out of 7 count? |
