Thanks Wesley. I have heard good things about Ravenna's so I will probably give them a try. Cheers. |

Recovery runner - I wouldn't waste the staff's time as you infer. I just meant would have a look and feel of the shoes on display in my hand & then buy online if I liked them. I generally like to check out the arch support & midfoot wrap of a shoe and get a rough feel for them. Cheers. |

Can anyone recommend some good mild support shoes. I've been wearing neutrals for years after a dartfish analysis but I now think I need some lid support - especially for me right peg. I've been looking at Wave Nexus and Grid Fusions - does anyone rate these. Even some neutral shoes that offer good support might be good - I bought some Progrid Ride's recently but I don't think they suit me and am now nursing runners knee as a result. Thanks ! |

Many thanks for these responses - I haven't visited this site for a while, unfortunately. I'm now about 3 months post op and have been back running for about 7 weeks. Not quite back to my old level but getting there. Knee is not 100% yet (fingers X'd) but is better than before the op so can't complain really. From experience I would recommend this procedure to anyone who is suffering with a simiilar complaint and can't carry on in the circumstances. My procedure was on NHS and the whole experience was very good but physio and aftercare was a little limited. Will try to update on my progress soon for anyone who's interested or in a similar predicament. L8R's. |
