Oh M God!!!! How totally out of my league was I?! Apologies to everyone I held up, and I actually think that is everyone!! It was my first 10k so I'm just glad I completed it (especially as training didnt go exactly to plan), and even if it did take me 70 mins!!!! Snail pace!!
Absolutely loved it though! Everyone was so friendly and encouraging. I'll definately be back next year - aiming for under an hour this time!
Firstly, I only tried running on a treadmill once - went flying off the back and took down one of the gym instructors! Oops!
I've been having problems with energy levels too and have decided to do some experimenting with my diet - thanks to the advice from rw members!
