Hello All,

Not running next year. I have not got over this year yet, still having problems with my ITBS. Not let the time go by though without doing anything. I am curentley doing my level 2 in Officiating at Athletics
I have also passed my level 1 in Coaching.

On the running side I am hoping to take part in the North Midlands Cross Country League this year.

Good luck to you all taking part in next years FLM. I will kepp popping on now and then.

Cheers

Hi All,

Just popped on to let you all know my time.

For 26.2 mile I did 4:15:44 on my Garmin 305.

The FLM which I measured @ 26.7 mile was 4:21:41.

That means I beat my PB by 1hr 12min 53sec.
Last year I did 5:34:34.

I have two blisters which take up half of each foot.
My ITB pulled really tight at 16 mile so had to stop every 2 mile to stretch it out. Had to walk the last 800m due to the ITB being to painfull.
Apart from that I was pleased with the Time. I was on for a sub 4hr until 16mile. Not bad for the training I had not done.

Well done to you all some great times.

Alex - Well done with your run and lets hope you can be there next year.

I have been resting all week. Feeling a little better now. Going to the Osteopath tonight to (hopefully) release this trapped nerve. Not sure what pace to run at the moment.
Got all my Gels for the day, just need to stock up on Jelly beans and Jelly babies.
Good luck to you all and hopefully we may meet some of you on the day.

Mr G, See you on sat at the Derby Runner. Dont forget your number.
