Hi everyone,

CONGRATULATIONS to you all and a massive well done, all fabulous times.

Nick - 3:38 is amazing, you should give yourself more credit......

Left Foot - I can relate to you, i have twin girls (20 months old) and work full time, shift work and so does my bloke so my faster days are are gone for now (but I wouldn't change things for the world). I still love running and put as much time into it as I can. Well done to you, I couldn't imagine running a marathon at this present time......

Well done again everyone

Shorty

Hi evreryone,

Just had a quick read over the past few posts.

Beders - Sorry to hear about your bad back. JBSS - I'm amazed you are still running, good on ya!!

Nick - Thought I'd not seen you out and about, hope your well - apart from being lazy. Ha Ha. Kristiina is doing the same Tri I think.

Well the last year has flown, my girls will be 1yr on the 3rd September!! I went back to work on 6th Aug so I don't have much time to run anymore but managed to get out three times this week - 1x 7m, 1 x 5m and 8m today. On nights now till next thurs so not sure when i'll next get out!!.

 Happy running everyone.

Hello everyone,

Hope all your running is going ok.

Most of you will know I was expecting twins...Well they were born 8 weeks early on the 3rd of September.

Rhiannon was born at 0616 3lb 6oz and Elllie at 0618 4lb 4oz. I had an emergancy C section, Ellie had breathing problems at first - when I went in to hospital they examined me and her leg was already coming out and was shocked with having to be pulled back out - as they were both breach there was no chance I could have them natural!! They were both in special care (SCBU) for 4 weeks but came home on 1st Oct. (needless to say I will be running the FLM for SCBU next time, obviously not 2009!!)

Clairstar and Nick (and JBSS as she txt me yesterday) already know but I think have left the news for me to post...Anyway all is well now - Ellie now 5lb 10.5oz and Rhiannon 5lb 4.5oz.

I went for my first run on Mon - I managed 5 miles, it killed me but I will hopefully get back into the swing of things soon. I swam 50 lenghts today and planning on running with the club tomorrow.

Happy running everyone

Happy Shorty (Daddy and twins) xx

Thanks everyone for the congrats. I have a permanent smile on my face .

Beders - Its gonna be hard work getting back to running with the twins not sure I fancy running with a double buggy, but I'm sure my blokey won't mind me popping out for a run - he's always been very supportive of my running.

Nick - Happy Birthday for tomorrow, its my mum's birthday tomorrow too!! Hope you have a wicked race - you must be due a PB at 10k, with the weather a bit cooler I have my fingers crossed for you. I've been swimming at Edmund Wilson Pool - its nice and handy for me being just round the corner.

Good luck everyone racing at the weekend.

JBSS - Good Luck and make sure you txt to let me know how you get on. Yeah, pls could you forward me the article - I get RW but must have missed it!! Doh.

Nick - Good Luck at Melmerby - one of my all time favorite races, I did 45.19 there last year - flat as a pancake. Its a shame I'm on nights at the mo else would have come to watch you, let me know how you get on also.

I went for my first scan tody ang guess what, I'm having TWINS!!!!! Non-identical and possibly two girls, but that will be confirmed at my next scan in three weeks time - No wonder my belly is getting big .

I've managed 2 x 4m & 1 x 5m run in the last week but think I may stick to swimming after todays news???!!!!
