I am back ... again and hopefully able to stay injury free and keep running WOO!!!!

Been lazy, not read back...

Good to see the old die hards are still here lol
LOVED the olympics, after us discussing the opening ceremony at the tour Can, it turned out to be fantastic  set the scene for a truly magnificent games

I am training for East Neuk & River Ness 10Ks, so far so good, just building the miles up slowly but surely and the lang soaks are working a treat
Am loving being able to run again and not feel like an old person the day after!!

Hi all

Hey Jac good to see your back out there again I've felt like that before too.

Markk I can sympathise with you, although all my injuries have not been major stuff, its such a pain to get motivated and ready and then you get knocked back again!!

Well I got my new shoes yesterday, even after my little runs on the treadmill in the shop my hip was making itself known today, not exactly pain but still there!!! The video showed my left foot was kinda caving in the way on landing with my existing shoes so am hoping that was the problem and my new ones will do the trick and get my alignment back to normal!!! Time will tell and fingers crossed! Will give it a couple of days and then go out for a test mile.

Hi all, great to hear you had a fab 13.1 mile run Can Kiwi your mara/ultra episode sounds like a nightmare!!
Markk you are sooo bad

My hip pain (or whatever it is in that area!) made itself known again so am now not running till I get new shoes which will have to be this weekend. God I hope they do the trick!!

Hi all

Great news a about your pussycat TP

I got my hip area niggle back this week, nothing major, its just 'there'! So not running again till I get new shoes on Sunday. Will take my old ones and hopefully get some advice. If I still continue to get the pain then it will be a visit to sports physio to try to get to the bottom of what I've got

Have a fab weekend everyone, the weekend starts on Friday

Hi all

Fab report TP, sorry to hear about your pussycat, what a sin. I know we do everything we can for our pets but I still think vets will get as much money out of us instead of telling us what we maybe don't want to hear Whatever happens I hope she is comfortable.
