CharlieW that's great news your hammy is good to go. My girlfriend gave blood last week (also a runner) and it wiped her energy levels out for a few days/runs. Hope all goes well with it for you and the 2kg rucksack commute run!
Lev, RJ all the racers.. Cracking runs and reports.
De lurking after sulking for a bit (London marathon shocker) and just ticking over running wise, this week I've begun the P&D 18 week schedule for the Berlin marathon. (With a few tweeks/commute runs added etc). First run Tuesday went well and spot on pace. Also joining a new running club as of June after running 90% of the last year on my lonesome. Southend AC. Might even enter some other races this year! It's been a while. As ever, following this thread and it's advice/banter! Good to see so many running well and on the way back from the bench. Looking forward to summer training for the autumn marathon campagin.
Hello again all, nice tergats being posted.. I'm sticking with the 'does what it says on the tin' 2:59 London prediction for me! Possible plan B is to finish on the 13th of April by midnight!
Interesting video Charlie W. I've been trying to work on my seemingly excessive vertical oscillation (9.4-10.4cms) since getting the Garmin 620 and getting nowhere! I think I'm just destined to be a Gazelle! If only I could run as fast as a gazelle!
