TR I definitely can't see any kit burning happening with the training your putting in!
Hammered it last night and this morning out of enthusiasm and seeing how fast I could push through the gears to get used to it. Now I'm waiting for my thighs and calves to play catch up! (or HTFU)!
Going to look into a decent turbo for winter bike training or when getting outside is out of the question, any recommendations?

Cheers MTR, I'll start intergrating that into training.

Great training and racing from you all, Marigold, that's shocking pace!
I like the way Marders said backed off and still runs a sub 5 minute mile!

Picked up my bike last night, 10 miles straight away, 7 mile run and 10 miles again this morning. I'm a big kid with a new toy!
Quick quration, would I be right in thinking it's good to replace a couple of easy runs in a week with bike riding? For instance a 6 mile easy run becomes 15 miles on the bike?
