Fantastic race reports, congrats to all the Abo runners this weekend, some cracking results.
Superb 10 time Lev.
Joolska, you know you'll be like a coiled spring come race day with the taper madness.
I had a relaxed run around the first Chelmsford marathon on Sunday, no heroics, just aimed at the London GFA target of 3:15. The course was quite mixed with road, trail, mud and grass so it was enjoyable to run the marathon distance without the usual pounding on the legs! Gave Marders a cheer en route too but he was moving too fast to hear! 3:12xx finish time and set up nicely for the training coming up for my spring 2015 26.2 PB attempt using a speed sharpening block and then the up to 70mpw P&D.
Brilliant Berlin marathoners I salute you! Some amazing times posted by friends and forumites. I almost got my flight to come and cheer you all on but it would have been too hard to go there and not run. I would have run a mediocre marathon at best and that would depress me! Hats off to you all, looking forward to the detailed race reports
Gutted I was unable to run at Berlin yesterday but did manage an easy 22 making a 60 mile training week, watched a local 5 mile race and cut the grass! Productive!
CharlieW Have you seen the Adios boost 2.0? I'm 100 miles into a pair and I'm never using any other trainer again! Found my holy grail of running shoes! I got the blue ones because the crap weather is coming!
