Many thanks Rob, another brilliantly organised event. Loved it (sort of)!

Just seen email from Rob and realsed that MM is this weekend. It's all coming back to me now - the first hill, the steps, more hills, the woods, the giant cows, the long downhill, more steps, the bag-piper, the tricky slope at half-way, more steps, cows, hills, steps, those damned steps, and then the cakes at the end. Lovely.

Am not very fit this year, but I'll get round. One question Rob, can we park in Rykers car park for the duration of the event? I seem to remember they lock it early, or am it wrong?

I'm in !!! 5th time lucky in the ballot. Have run twice for charities but now have my own place - hooray! Does that mean I will be on the blue start?

Thank you Rob for another fantastic event today. Organisation was excellent, great marshalls, good weather and lots of lovely cake at the end.

Second time I have run the Munro and I knocked 6 mins off last year's time, so am very chuffed. I kept telling myself to hold back in the first half and it worked. I dragged myself up the steps at the end and felt great at the top. Then just as I was about to run down the hill to the finish my right calf cramped up really badly. Thanks to the runner who offered to stop and help. I managed to stretch it out and hobble home. My kids ran down the hill with me at the end which was great.

Well done to everyone who took part today and thanks to the marshalls and everyone handing out sweets, it really helped.

I have just entered this again. Did it last year for the first time and I still have nightmares about the last climb up the steps. Giant cows also appear in my nightmares ....

I managed 2:22 last year, having crumbled in the last couple of miles. Not sure what my target will be this time but as it is my 40th birthday the following day I just want to be in one piece!

Looking forward to it (sort of)
