A pleasure! It is a lovely time of year to run in Mallorca and the course is a little undulating to keep it interesting. The facilities are good, too, as we start and finish at a sports centre with showers, loos, café ... Hope you get to do it. Cheers!!

Hello, I live and run in Mallorca. The Calvia Half Marathon is my favourite. Keep checking the following websites until they open up inscriptions, and either contact the organizers through www.maratondecalvia.com, or enter via www.elitechip.net with a credit card (probably easiest). If you have any problems, contact me via www.runnyknows.com, as I will be entering myself and others nearer the time. Good luck!

I had what you have described on the balls of both feet and they turned out to be corns caused by lots of impact (I am training a lot at the moment and ran a marathon a couple of weeks ago). I went to the podiatrist on Friday and he removed them painlessly by scraping away the hard skin and extracting them. They weren't bothering me too much, but I know that if you leave them too long and continue to run, they can get worse and become painful. I would get it sorted sooner rather than later so that you can enjoy niggle-free runs! Good luck with your races!

I live abroad and am not familiar with Cornwall or its running routes. I thought it might be more interesting and safer to run with club runners in the area than as a woman on my own.
