Driving home last night in the snow, loads of runners out and about “good for you!” I shouted. I can’t want to get my trails/spikes on later and go for a spin in the snow – great fun! (no such thing as bad weather, just bad clothes!)
Having just received a reminder telling me that there is a cut off to buy photos, I felt drawn to send the following email. Is this unreasonable?
Thank you for this reminder.
Unfortunately your products are too expensive. Rather than giving 50% of 'my' money to a charity, I'd prefer a cheaper product cost and retain my option to give money to a charity of 'my' choosing.
It is entirely within the policy of an organisation to become 'not-for-profit' but to force the customer to pay a 100% premium to fund an unnamed charity, where there is no competitive option, is scandalous.
Those ‘post race’ tips are spot on, its amazing how the FLM makes people in London *actually* talk to each other. If you are a Londoner, don’t get freaked out because people look at you on the Tube or even want to talk to you… ! My tip is.. when you start to feel down later on in the race (and you will) start running at the side of the route, the spectators can get very personal and will spur you on. Once you are fully motivated again pull back in to the middle – and so on.
Hi, Ive just sent an entry off for the Marathon, this will be my 1st Marathon since the dartmoor ultra in June - so I'm hoping for an easier ride. Does anyone know the actual distance - it seems a bit vague?.Cheers.
