This was my second half, the first was two years ago at Clowne when I did 1.42ish Road's aren't my thing usually as I'm a fell runner, and I like them long steep and muddy! I've done the Montrail Ultra's this year and wondered what I would be like on the road hence the return to Clowne. I have to say I was very pleased with my 1.29.00. up to 8 miles out I'd kept a steady 6.40min/mile, from there to the finish I felt very strong probably because I'm use to long grinders and time on my feet. |

Will they be giving out copies of the map at the start? Is there a website for the race? |

Hi Macc lad I'll watch for you at the road crossing on the way out. I've searched every where for a route description or a map showing the route. Any one seen one. Ian (dark peak) |
