evening all. glad I have missed out on the rumours this may have been cancelled, I would have got all huffy.
I know this is expensive but hopefully it will be worth it. I have tried a small race, less than 300 runners, and didn't like it at all. I was nearly last, about 4 or 5 behind me. It was a 10k and most people were club runners who got round in about 30 0r 40 minutes!!! I am a 1:06 - 1:10 person

I am flying up from Bristol. I think we are quite late looking for accomodation so I have an alternative plan.
My parents are going up mid week with their caravan and staying for a week, they will pick me up from the airport and be my chauffeur!! Not sure about the transport for the actual race though, I don't think it will work taking cars on the day.
getting excited already - I do need to get sorted with a flight up to Newcastle though. How does it work getting to the start and back from the finish then?
