Are there any women runners who experience lower belly problems when running long distances. I get a feeling that my womb is coming out and it's quite uncomfortable. Never run a marathon before, up to 18 miles. Been to the doctor and sahe said everything is intact so it's not a prolapse.Should I be doing some specific exercises or is this feeling a commom one in women. Getting concerned now as the marathon is only 5 weeks away.
I'm training for the London Marathon and I'm up to 17 miles. For the last 2 long runs that I did at about 14 miles it feels like my womb is hanging down and about to fall out of (you know where!) It's not painful but really uncomfortable and I would struggle to complete the marathon like this. It doesn't happen on short runs. I have been doing a lot of sit up's lately and don;t know if this has any connection. Any ideas?
Hi, I'm new to the site. I'm a Diabetic, (type 1),currently running 11.5 miles in training for the FLM. Unfortunately I have to eat before I run because of my Diabetes. Eating a lot of carbs at the moment and am not loosing any weight. Very frustrating! Any ideas?
