Great race today, helped by the weather and taking the road rather than the cycle path to Deganwy, which could have been a real bottleneck given the increased numbers at the event.

Parking was problematic and a little amusing (after the fact) when a line of cars were told to go next right, which took us in to the fire station!

Agree with Limpalong re queuing.  Long queue to pick up number (l'll get there earlier than 10:30 next year) and then longer queue for medal/T shirt at end, which isn't rocket science to put right. Will need to if numbers continue to rise.

However, despite a few niggles a great race.

Great day, even if I did struggle a little on the 3 mile finishing straight!

Bit of a bottleneck prior to start, but with those numbers only to be expected.

Did also wonder whether having expected time markers before the start to try and get similar runners together would help. Must be frustrating for quick runners having to pick a way through slower runners who went off early and also puts pressure on slower runners to perhaps run faster than they should. Just a thought!

I was out taking pics of my local team at the event, Ellesmere Port Running Club, and decided to keep my finger on the button! Took plenty of pics of random runners at various points around the course, which I have now uploaded. Took ages to sort and doubt I'll do it again, but here is the link for anyone who is interested. No order, just uploaded those that looked reasonable.

Just help yourselves if interested.
