Emma

Not much to be gained in to much mileage now, possibly very easy couple of miles on saturday but would not recommend any more than that.

Big thing on the day is not to start too fast, you can always make a little bit up later on if you are feeling good.

I would suggest to try and run the first 2-3 miles at 10 secs a mile slower than your hoped for pace and see how you feel from there.

As Neil says , most of all enjoy the day, best of luck.

Diana bring those cookies, i'm sure you will raise a fortune

Lets all hope the weather holds, sounds like ideal conditions at the moment

Could someone please advise of how many waterstops and where they are.
Have heard that there is a great selection of cakes at the finish, is this true (i hope so)
Thanks

looks like they are def provisional......all my split times look fine but my finish time is the actual clock time and doesn't take into account the 2mins+ it took to get over the start line.Looked at some of ny friends times and the same has happened to them..splits fine finish incorrect,
Lets hope it's sorted out in the official results.
Anyway what a great day..and i've got my watch time so i suppose that's all that matters but it would nice to get the correct official time though.

All the above is fine if the Chips work.
I ran last year and my chip failed.
Finally got an official time (3/4 weeks later) approx 4mins slower than i estimated.
Apparently someone had to watch the video until they saw me cross.

This year i still haven't received notification via post that i'm not in.

Think i'm getting a bit paranoid!!!
