Hello thread, I signed up for Greensands a while ago. Think I'm a bit concerned about the 70min cut off, as looking at my Leith Hill half splits, last time I got to that point in 71 mins, so perhaps I need to pick the pace up early on. Bread, I must have loads of spaceblankets at home, given to me post previous races. Might take some spare if anyone needs them. |

I work for Royal Mail, and I did see some "sorry you didn't get in" mags this afternoon. Think they are due for delivery tomorrow..... |

Well, haven't got round to Eindhoven yet, but Chicago is an excellent race. Plus the city itself is awesome. I did it as part of a 2 week US trip, which included a week in New York too. Oh, and I only got jetlag going home, not flying out there |

I did Chicago last year. The roads are very wide, so you shouldn't find much in the way of crowding. I was in an open corral, but then I'm not fast enough for anything else. If you put yourself right at the front of the open corral, then maybe you should be ok. Have a look on the US version of RW, as there should be Chicago thread going on there. I used it last year, and they are a friendly bunch. Even made it along to the post marathon booze up in the evening |

Trail shoes for me I reckon. Don't think it will be muddy, but the paths might be quite slippy in the wet. Good luck for tomorrow everyone |
