I've been training with not too many races so far, but I have cross countries coming up soon. All my training has been off road, which has saved me getting injured. I'm also giving myself an extra day per week to rest up which helps.
Training has been tough as I've been out there on my own this time. It's been hard to summon up the motivation sometimes!
This is the tough time now, 20 - 23 mile runs at the weekend or wherever I can fit them in whilst doing shift work!
Flight booked and hotel booked, just need to get there, get race number, sleep well and get to the start line!
Well Done Orca Glad to see I'm not the only one running in it! Have you booked your hotel yet? I have I haven't book my flight yet. I'm putting my feet up at the mo as I raced 5k on the track followed by an 800m leg of a 1600m relay yesterday in Blackpool. My calfs ache and the 6 hour journey has wiped me out!
