Still the right decision, just driven the course. Non gritted roads covered in compacted snow/ice and slush. Finish cul-de-sac has slush and snow in the school entrance. |

My son took a load of photos, I'll try and get them onto Flickr but I'm not sure how to shrink them? Right click on picture file - choose "Resize Pictures" - reduces to about a tenth of the original. Or if you have "Microsoft Office Picture Manager" - after right click choose 'Open With' - when open - Picture/Compress Pictures/ Web Pages (button) - even less than the first option. Found this route on MapMyRun - 26.3 miles - http://www.mapmyrun.com/run/united-kingdom/-chester/955127549526363044 Pug Been looking at your PB's on the club website.

Pug Been looking at your PB's on the club website. Only your 5K time points to a sub 2:42. Your 5M time to sub 2:44. All the other PB's indicate in the same range 2:44/2:47. My PB came from a 1 minute negative split so I'd advise trying 6:18 pace to half way and give yourself a realistic target. Cheers |

I looked at the Roodee today, lying water and rough ground in the finish area of the last few years. New run in avoids that area by snaking in to a 70metre straight. |

Use 'Satellite' view and zoom in, the route doesn't touch the car park, turns right after crossing the race course and then turns at the 2 furlong gap in the fence towards the finish. direct link http://www.mapmyrun.com/run/united-kingdom/chester/847931457 |
