I reckon around 78% of pie was consumed. A good effort considering afternoon carb loading had also taken place. I played safe with bangers and mash.

Off to Threkeld shortly.

NI - Great report but the race sounds like an absolute shambles. Well done on sticking at it despite the hopelessness of the situation.

Happy Birthday Eric !

I also did Park Run today and ventured to Burnage for the first time. Not a bad route, apart from a few wooden steps which have to be negotiated twice. Rugby clubhouse is a good event base and got a good clear run as there were only 74 runners. I still failed to break 20 mins though .

All the best to NI & RC tomorrow !

GBM - Yes, I'm up for Windermere 100%. The Keswick event looks a bit hardcore.

I think I might do it next year too. Spoke to a couple of people after who liked the route and praised the organisation !

Sorry my in depth race reports dried up but a combination of bumping into someone I knew and the flow of runners and lack of threadites on the course meant I couldn't be bothered.

Did see Simon Heys looking good for around 3:20 and several other Harriers  looking strong. Clairster - I hope you didn't injure yourself when you lunged at me !

Also saw ex-City and recent County player Jon Macken. He looked quite impressive at half way but finished walking and looked like a broken and defeated man. I can understand why he appealed to County.
