Thanks SuperCaz, thats really helpful advice. Will stick to just 3 times a week as you suggest and hopefully wont feel so tired. I think I try to do too much and then get over tired and start losing motivation, so will cut back. Thanks again. |

Hi, I am running a half marathon in 4 weeks. I have been struggling with my training as i have started to cycle to work about 3 days a week and also play net ball once or twice and my legs ache too mcuh to run too far. Supposed to be running 4/5 times a week but can not manage it wonder if i cut it down to 3 times i would feel better. Can anyone suggest a programme on 3 sessions a week? Thanks. |

I could not find one in PC world but i did get mine from Halfords online for 129.99. It was still priced at 179 in the shop though and they refused to price match. I think its worth it though! |

I started running as a way of getting fitter and releiving stress and can honestly say that it really works. I have suffered from depression and although its hard to get motivated at times I really think that getting fitter makes you feel better about yourself and that had the knock on effect of improving your moods and helping you to cope. I find that following a programme which tells you when to run, for how long etc is really beneficial and there are loads on here to help you whatever your level. Running is great because its amazing how quickly you can improve. Just take it slowly, enjoy it and most of all be grateful that you are able to run at all. I ahve never done a race for life but know lots of people who have and I think its good advice to go for one of those and have a goal to aim for. Good luck.xx |
