hi

Jen just back after club run and still no probs foot now in ice water for 15 min, several of the club runners have had the deep muscle treatment it takes the muscle off the bone and clears any gung that has built up over the years of calf tears.

the lady phys who takes care of us used to treat team gb so she knows a thing or 2 but god did it hurt but well worth it.

so good luck and never give up.

Hi

My calf and ankle problems  lasted for around 18 months ,went through same system as you got to the point of throwing my trainers away and getting fishing rods .

was then recomended my another club member to a physio who did deep musle stripping ,this takes the musle off the bone.i had 3 sessions in 2 weeks and just run a 10k race without any pains.

The treatment hurts like hell and have to keep the ice water treatment and stretching up but my results are brilliant. hope this helps.
