Personally I would go and see a sports physio off my own back, some doctors just don't want to know about sports related injuries. You can find a list of sport physios in your local yellow pages, there should be a group of *Chartered physios* in there hopefully and I would go to one of those, I'm sure other people have gone this route. Hope this helps.
I'm actually suffering a muscle strain aroudn the hip flexor, and I only got that diagnosed by seeing a sports physio and m now recovering from this. I urge you to see someone before you do any damage to you hip.
Im injured right now, though not a groin, but seems to be at the top of my thigh, i cannot even jog right now ! I don't think anyone here can diagnose your problem, im hoping to see a sports physio this week, and I think that's maybe what you should do, because you never know how serious an injury can be, let me know how u get on please :o)
I've never ever really been injured before and Im pretty sure ive got a groin strain. It doesnt really hurt when walking but its restrictive, i cannot even break into a jog let alone a run. I have a doctors appointment for next week, but I was wondering if anyone has any sound advice for me. I must admit this injury has got me down, you just take your fitness for granted i guess. Hope you guys can help me.
