*sigh* looks like the way forward. Doing a med ball routine incorporating single leg squats and ankle extensions too. Fingers X.

I think that's good news trying to be careful and stick to soft grounds. I think it was only a minor tear, it took me a long time to get it diagnosed. It took a few couple of months to get the full mobility back. Usually keep the runs

It's the NYC marathon, the biggest fund-raiser for Shoe4Africa. My pal Toby Tanser started it many years ago and I help out wherever I can. Kind of retired from marathon running due to meniscus tear couple of years ago, managed 1/2 marathon last year (the San Francisco 1/2) though not run further than that. Anybody on here been running marathons after knee surgery?
